Where to Party for Pride Weekend in Long Beach

Where to Party for Pride Weekend in Long Beach

Pride weekend in Long Beach is basically my birthday weekend, and that means it has always hit different for me. There is truly no better way to celebrate another trip around the sun than surrounded by your community, your people, drag queens, bottomless mimosas, and Robin S performing “Show Me Love” on a stage by the water. This city DELIVERS.

I will say, those years they moved Pride to the summer months? We don’t talk about those. That was dark times. Wrong. Incorrect. May is Pride month in Long Beach and that’s just the way the Goddess intended it. We are back where we belong and I, for one, am extremely emotionally available for all of it.

If you need the full rundown on the main events, we’ve got you covered — check out our event calendar for details on the Pride Festival, the Pride Parade, and the Pride Run. But this post is about everything that happens around those events, because honestly the bars and parties are their own whole category of Long Beach Pride and they deserve their moment.

So in honor of my May 18th birthday, Pride, and the general glory of living in the greatest city in Southern California, here is your complete guide to every party, drag show, and after-party happening in Long Beach this Pride weekend — May 15 through 17, 2026. You’re welcome. Happy Pride. Let’s get into it.

Thursday, May 14 — The Pre-Game That Isn’t Playing Around

Pride Vibes: Dee-Licious Thursdays at Hamburger Mary’s

330 Pine Ave | Thursday May 14 | 8 PM | Reserve your table at hamburgermaryslb.com

Listen, when a RuPaul’s Drag Race queen shows up before Pride weekend even officially starts, you show up. Hamburger Mary’s is kicking off Pride Vibes at their Dee-Licious Thursdays show, featuring Angeria Paris VanMicheals from RuPaul’s Drag Race as special guest, hosted by Big Dee, with Frida Heaux Jugosa, Zai, and Roxy Del Valle rounding out the cast. If you’re already in the city Thursday night, this is the move. Reserve a table — it will fill up.

Friday, May 15 — The Kickoff Is Already Unhinged (In the Best Way)

Glitter Junk: Boylesque Revue — LB Pride Weekend Kickoff

Harvelle’s Long Beach, 201 E Broadway | 8:00–9:30 PM

An all-male boylesque revue at one of Long Beach’s best live music venues. Big personalities, bigger energy, and enough glitter to traumatize your carpet for weeks. This is the theatrical, artsy kickoff to Pride weekend and honestly a vibe that you can’t get anywhere else. Harvelle’s is a real venue — this isn’t a bar show, it’s a production. Go.

Club Chub Long Beach Pride Kick Off Party

Falcon North | 1745 N Spring St | Friday May 15 | $10 advance / $15 at the door | 21+

“Ready Player Chub?” — the video game themed Pride kickoff party from Club Chub lands at Falcon North with DJ Santo on the decks. If you’re part of the bears, chubs, and daddies community, this is your Friday night sorted. $10 in advance, grab your ticket early.

The Silver Fox — DJ Jose on the Decks

411 Redondo Ave | Friday night | No cover. Ever.

Silver Fox has been doing Pride weekend right since 1981 — yes, 1981 — and Friday kicks off with DJ Jose spinning all night. No cover, strong drinks, and go-go dancers all weekend long (JanPaul, Favela, Daniel, Kris, and Alex confirmed for the full run). Start here, end here, come back again. The Fox doesn’t judge.

Saturday, May 16 — Main Character Energy All Day

Pride Drag Brunch at Hamburger Mary’s

330 Pine Ave | Saturday May 16 | Seatings: 10 AM & 12:45 PM | Bottomless Mimosas | Reserve at hamburgermaryslb.com

I need you to stop what you’re doing and make a reservation right now. Hamburger Mary’s Pride Drag Brunch is bringing in Shannel — RuPaul’s Drag Race and All Stars legend — alongside Psycadella Facade, Dani Kay, and hosted by Long Beach’s very own Jewels Long Beach. Bottomless mimosas. Iconic drag. Saturday morning. This is the blueprint for how to start Pride Saturday and I will not be taking questions. Two seatings, 10 AM and 12:45 PM — both will sell out.

MEGAWOOF America — Long Beach Pride Party

Falcon North | 2020 E Artesia Blvd | Saturday May 16 | Early Bears tickets from $10 | 21+

The hottest bear party of Pride weekend lands at Falcon North and they are not coming to play. Music by GLOVIBES and RETRO CUB, special guest GoGos Teagan, Gonzo, and Mista J, and Master of Ceremony El Valentino keeping the whole night together. There’s also a $200 cash prize for the best Pride look — so if you’ve been waiting for a reason to go full unhinged with your outfit, this is it. Early Bears tickets start at $10 and they WILL sell out. Find the event on LBC Vibe.

Stud Service — A Woof Daddy! Long Beach Pride Afterparty

The Hare Bar | 1800 E Broadway | Saturday May 16 | 9:30 PM | $10 | 21+

The festival closes at 10 PM and then what? You go here. DJ Mark and GoGos keep Saturday night going at The Hare Bar — one of the newer spots on the Broadway corridor that’s been building a well-deserved following. $10 to get in, Saturday night post-festival energy. This is the move when your legs are tired but your spirit is not.

The Silver Fox — DJ Yellow + Pride Karaoke

411 Redondo Ave | Saturday night | No cover

DJ Yellow spinning Saturday, Pride Karaoke fires up at 10 PM, and the go-go dancers are still going. The Silver Fox is a great mid-night stop between wherever you started and wherever you end up. No cover means you can pop in, get a drink, belt a song, and continue on your way. Perfect.

Sunday, May 17 — Parade Day, Brunch Day, Final Boss Energy

Pride Drag Brunch at Hamburger Mary’s — Sunday Edition

330 Pine Ave | Sunday May 17 | THREE seatings: 10 AM, 12:45 PM & 3:30 PM | Bottomless Mimosas | Reserve at hamburgermaryslb.com

Shannel and the Brunchettes are back for Sunday, this time with Missy Vee and Big Dee in the mix alongside Psycadella Facade and Jewels. Three seatings on Sunday, and that 3:30 PM one is genius — watch the parade at 10 AM, grab a spot on Ocean Blvd, then brunch your way into the afternoon. Bottomless mimosas while you recover from Saturday? That’s self-care.

Fantasy Suite: Bimbos in Space III — Pride Invasion

Sunday May 17 | Show starts 8:30 PM | Que Sera | 1923 East 7th Street

Third installment of Bimbos in Space, a queer and thick pole dance show that is exactly as glorious as it sounds. “Get ready for blast off, space cuties and cadets!” This is the show that reminds you why Long Beach Pride has its own character — it’s not just festival stages and parades, it’s also wildly specific, body-positive, community-built performance art that you simply cannot find anywhere else.

Queeroke LA — Long Beach Pride Day Party

Sunday May 17 | Day party | Agaves | 200 Pine Avenue

Queeroke LA is bringing their queer karaoke day party to Long Beach for Pride and yes, that is exactly what it sounds like. If you love karaoke, you love Pride, and you love doing both at a Pride day party — this is your event.

The Silver Fox — DJ E Rock (4 PM) + Pride Karaoke (10 PM)

411 Redondo Ave | No cover

DJ E Rock hits at 4 PM — right when post-parade energy peaks and everyone is trying to figure out where to go next. Then Pride Karaoke at 10 PM to officially close out the Silver Fox’s Pride weekend run. Three days, no cover, never disappoints. The Fox has been here since 1981 and will be here long after all of us are gone.

Long Beach Pride Sunday Closing Party at Agaves

Agaves | Sunday May 17 | 6:00 PM | DJ Les Ortiz + Karaoke | Free

The official send-off. DJ Les Ortiz — who is also performing at the Pride festival earlier in the day — brings the energy to Agaves for karaoke, drinks, and the collective exhale of a weekend well spent. This is the one where you look around, your feet hurt, your glitter is mostly on your face now, and you think “yeah, I needed this.” See you there.

Just Want to Bar Hop? Here’s Your Broadway Corridor Guide

You don’t need a ticket or a plan to have a great Pride weekend in Long Beach. The East Broadway LGBTQ+ corridor — running from Alamitos to Junipero — is alive all weekend long and every bar on this strip is worth a visit. Check out my favs here.

The Falcon — 1676 E Broadway

The anchor of the strip, open 9 AM to 2 AM every single day. Go-go dancers, DJs, a full dance floor, and they even set up overflow in the parking lot for Pride weekend because the crowd is that big. This is the main event of Broadway.

Mineshaft — 1720 E Broadway

The leather and jeans bar on the corridor. Theme nights, a strong regular crowd, and owned by locals who have been a part of this community for decades. Expect it to be packed all weekend.

Sweetwater Saloon — 1708 E Broadway

Pool tables, cheap drinks, the coldest draft beers on Broadway, and heavy pours. This is the classic Long Beach dive bar experience and it slaps. Great place to start the night before the crowds peak.

Broadway Cocktails — 1100 E Broadway

Over 40 years on this corner, voted best karaoke bar in Long Beach, open daily from 10 AM. If you’re looking for karaoke in a genuinely laid-back, no-attitude spot, this is it. Happy hour until 8 PM every day.

One Last Thing

Happy Pride, Long Beach. And since Pride weekend and my May 18th birthday basically share a zip code every year — happy early birthday to me, too.

This city knows how to celebrate. Whether you’re hitting every event on this list, parked on Ocean Blvd watching the parade, or just walking the Broadway strip with a drink in hand — there’s nowhere else I’d rather be this weekend.

Stay safe, hydrate between cocktails, tip your drag queens, and for the love of god — do not try to park on Ocean Blvd on Sunday morning.

See you out there.
