Public oral History Evening with the Honorable Evan Anderson Braude

The Honorable Evan Anderson Braude is an attorney and former Long Beach City Councilmember. He grew up in Los Angeles, the son of a congressman. His civil and human rights work includes being a founding member of Bet Tzedek Legal Services formed to provide free legal services for those in need. As a councilmember, Braude introduced housing and employee protections for the LGBTQ+ community members and people with AIDS. His legislation included ground-breaking tobacco control which was duplicated at the state level. His civil rights advocacy continues with the Cambodian community. Members $100 / Non-Members $115.
