Juneteenth at King Park — 30th Anniversary Celebration

Date: Saturday, June 20, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: 1950 Lemon Ave, Long Beach, CA
Cost: Free

Thirty years, cousins. This event has been going strong longer than some of us have been alive and it is THE one when it comes to Juneteenth in Long Beach. Full day of music, vendors, food, and good energy at MLK Park. Bring the whole family — kids, grandparents, neighbors, everybody. There’s a shuttle running from King Park to Downtown Long Beach so parking is not an excuse. Grab a $25 commemorative t-shirt while you’re there. This is a Long Beach staple and it deserves to be treated like it.

Celebrate Juneteenth at Monte Verde Park (Lakewood)

Date: Saturday, June 20, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Monte Verde Park, Del Valle Park, Lakewood, CA
Cost: Free

Okay so technically this one is Lakewood and not Long Beach, but I’m putting it on the list anyway because y’all already know I’m going to be there. The City of Lakewood picked 10 local businesses to have booths at their Juneteenth celebration this year, and I’m one of them. This is my first time doing something like this and I genuinely cannot wait.

I’ll have a booth set up the whole time, and I’m using this as the moment to finally launch my merch — first time ever, available for purchase right there. Consider it a little Juneteenth drop. I’ll post a sneak peek before the event so keep an eye out.

And because I always try to bring something extra — the team at Thera-Pose LB is coming through with FREE chair massages at my booth all day, done by actual licensed massage therapists. So if nothing else, come get rubbed on for free and say hi to me while you’re at it.
