Long Beach Marathon

The 2XU Long Beach Marathon returns October 10-11, 2026, with 28,000+ runners crossing the start and finish lines in the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center’s main parking lot next to the Long Beach Arena.
The race weekend includes three distances: a full marathon (26.2 miles), half marathon (13.1 miles), and the Aquarium of the Pacific 5K, which runs through the aquarium itself. Courses wind through Long Beach’s waterfront, residential neighborhoods, and coastline before looping back to the Convention Center.
The Race Expo and Packet Pickup are held in Hall C of the Long Beach Convention Center. All marathon and half marathon participants pick up their race bibs here. The expo is free and open to the public, with event merchandise, running gear vendors, and photo opportunities.
