Intro to Super 8 Filmmaking

A fun and beginner friendly workshop all about Super 8 and small gauge filmmaking!
We’ll learn about film history, camera mechanics and analogue cinematography techniques and then put our new knowledge into practice as we do some filming of our own and possibly even some hand processing!
This very low-key, diy, hands-on workshop is perfect for filmmakers of all experience levels, and focuses heavily on working and learning together! We will film as a group and pass the camera from hand to hand. WE BELIEVE ART FLOURISHES WHEN IT IS PRACTICED AS A DEMOCRATIC, COMMUNAL EXPERIENCE!
