Make Saturday lunch something special. Join local chefs, artists, and neighbors for the first-ever Empty Bowls Long Beach—a celebration of food, art, and community.
Your $35 ticket includes delicious soup from participating local restaurants and a handcrafted ceramic bowl made by Long Beach artists—yours to take home.
Our 10-restaurant lineup features Colossus, Marlena, Alder & Sage, Homareya, Shady Grove Foods, Battambong BBQ, Got Your Back, True North Social Club, Cafe Avenue, and Gene’s Goods. Soups Include: pozole verde, Filipino arroz caldo, chicken curry, kale-lentil soup, and minestrone. With plenty of Vegan and Vegeterian Servings.
Bring a friend, gather around our community tables, and enjoy a meal that gives back. All proceeds support the Volunteer Center’s Food For Kids program, helping feed local children and families.
