“Peter and the Wolf” Family Concert Event | 6/7/26 | Long Beach Symphony

Join Long Beach Symphony on June 7, 2026 at the Terrace Theater and Plaza in Long Beach for the RuMBa Foundation Family Concert featuring Prokofiev’s beloved Peter and the Wolf. Performed live by the orchestra under the direction of Eckart Preu, this interactive musical adventure introduces families to the instruments of the orchestra through playful storytelling, exciting characters, and unforgettable music.
Families can also enjoy hands on activities before and after the concert including an Instrument Petting Zoo, arts and crafts, games, conducting activities, and more. Kids are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite costumes for even more fun.
Activities take place from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with the concert performance from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Kids 17 and under get in FREE, adult tickets are just $20, and free parking is included with admission.
