Long Beach Open Studio Tour

The Long Beach Open Studio Tour is an artist-run, community-powered event dedicated to strengthening connections between local artists and the public. It’s a free, self-guided tour of working studios, many located within the artists’ homes. We invite visitors into the creative spaces, backyards, and neighborhoods that shape the art and the lives behind it.
By opening these doors, we create meaningful exchanges, reveal hidden corners of Long Beach, and foster a deeper sense of connection, curiosity, and community across our city.
This grassroots event is made possible by participating artists and the generous support of individuals, businesses, and organizations who believe in nurturing Long Beach’s creative spirit.
Since 2009, the tour has woven together neighborhoods, artists, and thousands of visitors across Long Beach, drawing people into studios tucked behind garden gates, along busy corridors, and inside quiet residential streets. Last year alone, nearly 3,000 visitors stepped inside these creative spaces, discovering not only new artwork, but new corners of the city itself.
