Let’s start the day with friends\, fresh air\, and an ocean view. 🌊☀️ This is a feel-good morning walk where we’ll take in the scenery\, get a little nature time\, and ease into the day with good company. We’ll walk at a comfortable\, steady pace and cover about 2 miles in around an hour. \nWe’ll do quick get-to-know-you intros for the first 5 minutes (up to 10 minutes if we have a bigger group)\, then we’ll head out no later than 7:05–7:10 AM. Yes\, 7 AM! Please arrive a few minutes early so we can start on time. \nWe’ll walk on the sand by the water if conditions allow. If the tide makes the sand too soft\, we’ll switch to the path\, but we’ll try for the water’s edge first. \nCome for the ocean view\, and the chance to meet some great people. 👟🌿 \nSidenote\, dogs are technically not allowed on the beach where we walk\, but if you want to bring your dog\, I have no problem with it. But if you get a ticket\, you can’t blame me! Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku\, forest bathing means taking in nature through your senses. These slow and mindful walks offer an immersive sensory experience to explore your unique relationship with the earth. \nThe walk begins with a grounding exploration to awaken the senses\, followed by a series of crafted invitations to wander using your senses to explore the natural world. The walks are slow and at a gentle pace with periods of silence and reflection. The group will conclude with tea and snacks. \nParticipants of forest bathing might notice benefits after sessions\, such as: \n\nRelaxation\nReduced stress and anxiety\nIncreased creativity and improved memory\nDeepened connection to themselves and the natural world\n\nParticipants are encouraged to bring something to sit on such as a blanket\, yoga mat\, or chair.
