DESCRIPTION:The Honorable Evan Anderson Braude is an attorney and former Long Beach City Councilmember. He grew up in Los Angeles\, the son of a congressman. His civil and human rights work includes being a founding member of Bet Tzedek Legal Services formed to provide free legal services for those in need. As a councilmember\, Braude introduced housing and employee protections for the LGBTQ+ community members and people with AIDS. His legislation included ground-breaking tobacco control which was duplicated at the state level. His civil rights advocacy continues with the Cambodian community. Members $100 / Non-Members $115.
